Out of the Studio: The TCNJ Biennial Faculty Exhibition

Mercer
TCNJ Art Gallery

Featuring works by faculty and staff across fine art, interactive multimedia, and graphic design, this biennial exhibition celebrates creative practice and pedagogy at TCNJ.

TCNJ Art Gallery is pleased to present Out of the Studio: The TCNJ Biennial Faculty Exhibition, featuring new work by faculty and staff in the departments of Art & Art Education and Design & Creative Technology. The exhibition theme, Out of the Studio, suggests all the ways artists – and their work– move out of the relatively private space of the studio and engage with the wider world. Artwork leaves the studio to go on exhibit, like the work on view in this gallery; but artists also move out of the studio: they might make work in nature, in the city, on their kitchen table. And even if they work in a traditional studio, their ideas and inspiration come from all over, inside and outside the studio.

Artists include:

Jason Alejandro
Anita Allyn
Chung Chak
Susan Coll-Guedes
Helen Maurene Cooper
Bao Hu
Ken Kaplowitz
Kyle LoPinto
Elizabeth Mackie
Ren MacLean
Margaret Pezalla-Granlund
Theresa Pfarr
Paul Schuette
Elizabeth A. Shores
Amy Stevens
Liselot van der Heijden

Join us to explore the exciting work being produced by the faculty and staff of the Department of Art & Art Education, Interactive MultiMedia, and Graphic Design. Artists include: Susan Coll-Guedes, Helen Mauene Cooper, Kyle LoPinto, Elizabeth Mackie, Theresa Pfarr, Ren Rullo, Elizabeth Shores, Amy Stevens, and Liselot van der Heijden.
