Skylands Museum has a room full of engaging Baba Yaga sculptures by American sculptor Ailene Fields. What happens when you step into Baba Yaga’s mysterious world?

Explore the intriguing, magical, and fascinating Eastern European folklore of Baba Yaga in this creative writing workshop led by folk tale explorer and re-empowerment coach, Jessica Alvarez. Using the character, her stories, and Ailene Fields' art as inspiration, participants will explore creative prompts and exercises to develop their own poems, stories and imaginative ideas.

Come look closely, write freely, and discover your own Baba Yaga. No previous writing experience necessary.

👥 Limited to 8 participants

🎨 $50 per person - includes museum admission, materials, and supplies
