Cryptid Mountain Live

Cryptid Mountain is a multimedia art and storytelling performance by creator David LaMorte.

The “Mountain” is a HO scale model of a fictional mountain covered with a mix of real and reimagined landmarks. Loosely based on the Inferno chapters of Dante’s Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, “Cryptid Mountain” takes the Jersey Devil on a journey of self discovery though real New Jersey landmarks. Just like Dante channeled his obsession with fourteenth century Florence I am channeling my obsession with my home state to tell this original story.
