The Photo Reimagined with Gerald Slota

Monmouth
Michael Mazzeo

A one-day, hands-on, creative photography workshop led by Gerald Slota.

Sep 26th 11am to 5pm

Photographers, are you stuck in a creative rut?
Are you ready to see the world through a fresh lens?
If you’d like to have some fun defying conventions and exploring new creative directions, then this workshop is for you!

This one-of-a-kind, one-day creative workshop encourages “out-of-the-box” thinking and pushes the boundaries of what a “typical” photograph is supposed to be. You’ll have an assignment for the day aimed at exploring how you can incorporate experimental thinking and techniques into your work while staying true to your photographic style. You’re encouraged to use any visual imaging tools: camera, cell phone, or video. By day’s end, you will have created a new image unlike anything you’ve made before.

This workshop is open to photographers and other artists of all levels. Expect a fun, inspiring day of creative play. All you’ll need to bring is an imaging tool of your choice – camera or phone, a laptop or tablet, and an open mind. Your instructor will provide feedback throughout the day, and we’ll make final prints on-site.
