Stangl Pottery Community / Public Art Workshop

This Community /Public Art Workshop, is a hands on workshop held at Flemington DIY run by Aidan Mirowsky of Little Fire Studios. You will learn a bit about the history of Stangl Pottery as you slip-cast and paint pottery for a community made public art sculpture. The workshop will focus on the Stangl Birds of America, a particularly popular series that was hand painted in Flemington. After their creation in the workshop, the pieces will stay in the Stangl Arts and Culture District to be fired at Flemington Pottery. Workshops are held monthly November 2026-April 2027. These workshops are made possible with funds from Hunterdon County and the Hunterdon County Cultural & Heritage Commission, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
