Root System is an outdoor group exhibition of ten site-specific artworks made during a residency program hosted by Wildflower Sculpture Park. The artists created works as part of a thematic project developed through weekly group meetings over the spring and summer of 2026. The works created for Root System explore the rhizomes and networks of life in the forest preserve and how these are in relationship to our larger communities and our historical and ancestral roots.
