Spanning work from the 1940s through the present day, the exhibition traces South Orange artist Judy Targan's artistic evolution over her eight-decade career.

Judy Targan: A Life in Art is a major retrospective honoring one of South Orange's most beloved artists and cultural leaders. Featuring works from the 1940s to today, the exhibition showcases Judy's remarkable evolution through paintings, prints, murals, and her newest Landscapes/Landshapes series.
The exhibition will remain on view through November 8 and will serve as the Pierro Gallery's featured exhibition during this year's SOMA Studio Tour, an especially meaningful distinction as Targan was one of the founders of the beloved community tradition.
Judy has spent a lifetime creating art while helping shape the vibrant arts community we enjoy today. During the exhibition, she'll also celebrate an incredible milestone—her 95th birthday.
