Artists Alyce Gottesman and Donna Bassin will have works on view during the Jersey City Artist Studio Tour on Oct. 3 & 4 from 12-5pm. Gottesman creates colorful mixed media abstract paintings, works on paper, and fabric collages. Her paintings explore landscape-inspired atmospheric environments that reflect memory of place and personal experience. Donna Bassin creates an imaginative world of dolls, blushed landscapes, and hand-altered photographs. Her richly layered work transforms memory, nature, and loss into unexpected stories of resilience and repair.
